What your child does
Your child picks a game from the list of all games and presses Start. Each game lasts a few minutes and practises one thing they learn in school science, such as using an equation or converting units.
Games start easy and get harder. When your child gets a question wrong, the game shows the working, so they can see the step they missed.
What we keep, and what we don't
Your child never gives us a name, email address, age or school. High scores and settings are saved on your own device, and we can't see them.
Our server counts things like how many times a game was started, as daily totals. It keeps no record of who played. The full list of what we collect is written so that a child can read it too.
We don't use tracking cookies, show adverts, or build a profile of your child. We designed the site around the UK Children's Code.
How long to play
Ten minutes a few times a week is plenty. A short game before homework can help your child remember an equation or a unit when they need it.
If your child finds the start too easy, suggest the harder start. If they rush, suggest the round of ten with no timer.
Devices
The games work in a web browser on phones, tablets, laptops and Chromebooks. There's no app to install.
Questions people ask
Is it safe for my child to use?
Your child never gives us personal details, there are no adverts, and there is no chat. The only free text boxes are for feedback, bug reports and game ideas, and we ask children not to type their name in them.
Does it cost anything?
No. Every game is free and there is nothing to buy.
Which ages is it for?
Students aged 11 to 16, from Year 7 to Year 11.
